Revisited (BE2567) ~ Wat Prasart Boonyawas ~ The Place LP Thuad Pilgrimage & Practiced Meditation In The Past ~ Bangkok - Thailand.

Wat Prasart Boonyawas was established around 1833 (BE2376) with originally named Wat Khlong Samsaen because it was near Khlong Samsaen. Later, the name was changed to Wat Khwit because there was a large Makhit tree near the monastery and changed the name again to "Wat Prasart Boonyawas" around 1944 (BE2487). In year 1955 (BE2498) there was a large fire conflagration. That fire lost the monastery until the temple was almost dissolved. At that time, Phra Ajahn Tim (Tim Thammatharo), the abbot of Wat ChangHai RatBuranaram, had a dream that Luang Pu Thuad asked him come and help renovate this temple. Because during the Ayutthaya period, Luang Pu Thuad often came to settle in this area before went to Ayutthaya. After this dream, Phra Ajahn Tim brought the mould and ingredients for making the Luang Pu Thuad amulet came to Wat Prasart Boonyawas. Therefore, it was the beginning of the creation of the sacred objects of Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Prasart Boonyawas, which generated so much fund for the temple that it was able to successfully rebuilt a new Ubosot and other pavillion for Wat Prasart Boonyawas. ***see my previous post for more info monks participated for this batch ceremony amulets.

Temple area is small and crowded with cars parked here everyday. Far behind was the wiharn with LP Thuad statues venerated top floor and Aikhai statues venerated below floor.

Visiting Wat Ton Liap ~ The Holy Place of LP Thuad's Placenta Buried + Cobra Gave Crystal Ball - SongKhla - Thailand.

Wat Ton Liap is the sacred temple where the mysterious Cobra gave the baby (future LP Thuad) a crystal ball, and also the place where LP Thuad's mother buried his placenta below the tree. Wat Ton Liap also famous by the late LP Chamnian ChotaDhammo (LP Jamnian) and his undecay body kept in temple for us to pay respected.

The Cobra and baby 'Pu' (birth name of LP Thuad - meaning crab), represent a Cobra come and gave a aura Crystal Ball to Baby 'Pu' LP Thuad in the past.

Here the banyan tree where LP Thuad's mother was said to have buried his placenta and beside with built a Shrine Wiharn of Phra Buddha and LP Thuad statues.

The late LP Chamnian ChotaDhammo (LP Jamnian), he was former abbot of Wat Ton Liap. He was predicted (in year BE2538) a year early about his would pass away (in year BE2539) with wrote a will and said his body will not decay. Nobody believed and noboby kept in mind about this prediction, on sunday before Buddhist Lent in year BE2539, LP Chamnian really passed away, therefore the body LP Chamnian was kept according to the will that he written.

Revisited BE2561 - Wat ChangHai ~ The Famous Temple Of LP Thuad At Pattani.

Wat ChangHai is a must visit temple for LP Thuad amulet lover. Here is one of the main temple of LP Thuad and also consecrated most sought after LP Thuad amulets all the time. Wat ChangHai have restoration some temple buildings and chedi. Here we uploaded some photos for this revisited.
