Revisited Again BE2567 ~ LP Phrom Of Wat Bansuan - Phatthalung - Thailand.

The iconic large Chedi of Wat Ban Suan is unique in this area—such a structure is rare even in nearby provinces. Built through the collective power of faith, it stands as a testament to the devotion of the local community. That's why I always come to visit whenever I'm in Phatthalung province.
Wat Bansuan, Khuan Khanun district in Phatthalung province has been passed down as being built since ancient when the Ayutthaya period as the capital. Wat Bansuan was built by the old master guru monks of Wat Kao Or. Therefore, it can be said that it is another branch temple of Wat Kao Or, monks who shares both spiritual teachings (Dhamma) and mystical knowledge (Wicha). Wat Bansuan is related to Wat Kao Or because of history past abbot LP Khong (Phrakru Phiphat Sirithorn). He was former abbot of Wat Bansuan, who is a disciple of Wat Kao Or and the amulets consecrated by LP Khong had many miracles experience. The temple follows the teachings and magical practices of the Kao Or school of Wicha, a prominent lineage in Southern Thailand.

LP Phrom (current abbot of Wat Bansuan) is a respected Thai Buddhist monk and abbot of Wat Bansuan in Phatthalung province. He is known for his knowledge of traditional magic, having studied at Samnak Kao Or Tak Sila and for his charitable work, including providing scholarships to students and novices. As the abbot, he has developed Wat Bansuan and focuses on both religious teachings and social welfare. He continues the work of his predecessor LP Khong (Phrakru Phiphat Sirithorn), developing the monastery and serving the community. LP Phrom (Phrakhru Khan Taya Phon), was born on Monday 10 March BE2485 in Phatthalung province. When LP Phrom was 20 years old, he went into monkhood at Wat Bansuan that had LP Khong (Phrakhru Phiphat Siri Thon) was the preceptor. He went to Bangkok for studying the buddha’s teaching at Wat Traimit until then LP Khong died, he came back to Wat Bansuan and became  as the abbot of Wat Bansuan. LP Phrom has developed and built the public benefits for the people and has given the scholar ship to the student and the novice who is poor.
LP Phrom is the well kwon monk that studied the magic from Wat Kao Or by followed LP Khong who was the former abbot of Wat Ban Suan and the teacher of Ajahn Chum Chaikiri. LP Phrom is well known monk and top expert in the magic wicha monks in southern of Thailand.
Receiving a blessing from LP Phrom for all sacred items. Reverend Father LP Phrom is highly respected in southern Thailand and there are many people admire him. Receiving a blessing from Luang Phor Phrom is a deeply humbling and sacred experience. His kindness and humility are truly inspiring.
