Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao ~ The Temple Of LP Suk - The Canal Khlong Makham Thao (Part 3/3).

In front of temple Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao is located the bank of Chao Phraya river. Also where the canal Khlong Makham Thao located at side. In the past, the faster way to travel thru boat at canal Khlong Makham Thao. The local devotees was told me that this river also the place where LP Suk's disciple practiced the wicha.

Here also venerated statues of Phra Budhha and LP Suk. This wiharn is facing the Chao Phraya river.

In the past, many large aquatic reptiles crocodiles live here.

Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao ~ The Temple Of LP Suk - The Main Wiharn With Shrine Of LP Suk & LP Samran (Part 2/3).

The legends of LP Suk ~ Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, the most famous with many witnesses who saw the event were transformed elephants belonging to some arrogant merchants into houseflies, transformed banana blossoms to be rabbit and transformed a man into a crocodile. Futhermore, he had many disciples included HRH Prince Chumpon (son of King Rama V), founder of the Thai Navy.
LP Suk went to studied the Wicha magic arount Thailand and came back to Chainat ~ Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao to became as temple abbot. His master included from top monk LP Poeng from Wat Chinwanaram, LP Thaow from Wat Hong and LP Choen from Wat Poh Thong Lang.
 The main wiharn of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, many local devotees came for pay respect to LP Suk, LP Samran & HRH Prince of Chumphon (son of King Rama V).

Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao ~ The Temple Of LP Suk - The New Statue Of LP Suk (Part 1/3).

Like many other temples, Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao is an old temple with famous of highly revered monk LP Suk. This temple was situated at the mouth of the river Khlong Makham Thao with the shady temple offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, which is created by the scenery, mountains and mural paintings. The murals were made by Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak, the father of the Thai navy.

Currently temple Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, abbot LP Thuan, built the new statues of LP Suk, LP Samran and 'Father of the Thai navy', HRH Prince of Chumphon. Temple Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao also issued new batch amulets to raise fund for this project.
