Visiting Wat ChaMao BE2566 ~ The Old City Temple At Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Wat ChaMao established in year 1835 (formerly known as Wat Moli) and deserted, until rebuilt in year 1915. In the past, the area was divided into 3 ancient temples (records of abandoned temples in Muang of Nakhon Si Thammarat), 1) Wat Samitthan, 2)Wat Pradoo Khien, 3)Wat Moli (now as Wat ChaMao). Later in the year 1915, or above 100 years ago, Chao Khun Sirithammamuni ordered the 3 temples to combines as one temple, which is now Wat ChaMao. The present abbot of Wat ChaMao is LP Kasem Khemcitto revealed that it occurred at the end of April 2011, the Buddha image was called by the villagers as "Phra Puttha LP Soong", with a lap width of about 3 meters and found an inscription at the base of the Buddha image saying that it was built in year 1079. The sacred Phra Puttha LP Soong enshrined at the original location at Wat Pradoo Khian.

Here the amulet counter of Wat ChaMao and waited for attended by temple monk (LP Kam) for obtained some amulets. He said the current abbot LP Kasem was not at temple because attended blessing ceremony at other temple.

Revisited BE2566 ~ Meet Ajahn Uthai At Wat WikHanSoon - Phatthalung - Thailand.

Visiting Wat WikHanSoon (Wihan Sung) on a cloudy day and the sun didn't show up not even for one minute for a quick hello. Today come to Wat WikHanSoon for obtain amulets and meet with Phra Ajahn Uthai. Phra Ajahn Uthai has been mastered the art of making efficacious Phra Pidta, Wealth Fetching Crocodiles, Takruts, Betel Nut Loop Om and many other included his Rian amulets.

Photo taken with Phra Ajahn Uthai ~ (LP Uthai Utthayo). He was born on 13 November 1966 in Phatthalung and now is an abbot of Wat Wikhansoon in Phatthalung province. LP Uthai learnt magic wicha from many master included his grandfather (a famous guru monk), LP Pord (Wat Hua Pa, Songkhla Province) and LP Parn (Wat Saeng Arun, Phatthalung Province) and LP Phong (Wat Jaeng, Phatthalung). Nowadays, Ajahn Uthai helped many devotees with his wicha and amulets.

Visiting Wat Yang Yai BE2566 ~ The Pink Temple & Famous Ta Phran Boon (BanBoon) At Nakhon Si Thammarat (Part 2/2).

Wat Yang Yai is very beautiful with every building of pink colour. Many local villager called the Pink Temple and also temple of Ta Phran Boon (BanBoon). In the past, this temple named as Wat Ganga Lom and now as Wat Yang Yai, was a sister temple to Wat Jadee (Ai Khai). The atmosphere is very nice and spirit loaded.

The beautiful main Phra Buddha with Bodhi Tree. Recommended for going to pay respects. After making merit, ready with gold foil, incense sticks, flowers, red cloth at the point booth.

=> Go and pay respect to the Phra Buddha image in the temple first and offer flowers.

=> Pay respect to Tao Wessuwan and pray. Tie a red cloth in any position, it's up to your preference.

=> Bring incense sticks and gold to pay homage to the Ta Phran Boon (another wiharn). There is a place for burning incense sticks. Then take gold foil and paste it on the image of the Buddha statue and Ta Phran Boon statue.

The main statue of Ta Phran Boon (BanBoon). It is believed that hunters are people with very strong magic skills and able to survive the dangers of the forest. Whether it is danger from beasts or even various mysteries. According to the legend that has been told One of the hunters that no one can compare with is Ta Phran Boon. According to legend, Ta Phran Boon has good wisdom and can travel in the deep Himalayan forest and had saved the life of Thao Chompoojit from death. Naga King Thao Chompoojit then took Ta Phran Boon to the Naga Pit for 7 days and gave him a magic crystal. Thao Chompoojit ready to grant his wishes if in the future Ta Phran Boon wishes for anything, he will come to this place. When he asks for anything, he will give it because it is considered as repayment for Ta Phran Boon saved Thao Chompoojit's life. Therefore, people highly respect Ta Phran Boon and must do good deeds to refrain from evil. Which is amazing good of trade, charming love and care, compassionate and popular, protection from dangers and refrain various black magic spells as well. It is believed that a hunter is a person who is very skilled in magic. Able to survive in a forest that is only dangerous from various beasts and mysteries, which Ta Phran Boon is considered to be the greatest, hard to compare with anyone.

Photo taken with Ta Phran Boon statue. Ta Phran Boon mask or Manorah mask or can also be called Phran face is considered a clown in the Manorah band that creates laughter for the audience. Because of the funny acting and dancing, Manorah is close communication with the audience. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is a favorite character of viewers of all genders and ages. The Manorah mask is carved from wood with long hooked nose, the black eye, it will be penetrated and known. The face will be red or gold and other colours. There are white teeth with gold frames on top and decorated with duck feathers as hair.
