I visited Wat Doi Duang Kaew Sappanyu Dharma Center in the late evening. By the time I arrived, the temple was already closed and there was no one around—but I was still lucky enough to walk around and take in the serene atmosphere. It was quiet and peaceful, and I’m definitely planning to come back for a proper visit during the day. Located in Chiang Rai province, the center sprawls across an impressive 127 rai (~50 acres), offering ample space for meditation, walking paths, and spiritual retreats. The site is being developed in phases, with additional halls, pavilions, walkways, and landscaping being added gradually. It’s common for large Dharma centers like this to expand over several years, enhancing both their physical beauty and spiritual facilities. Anyway, here we're sharing some photos of temple surrounding.
Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi Chaiyaratnajito (Wat Doi DuangKaew Sappanyu Dharma Ceter), he was an expert in Lanna Wicha by studied incantations and inscribed various Yantra characters. His first teacher was his great-grandfather (Ui Mon Son), who was an expert in making auspicious candles such as the Setthi Ruean Kham candle, the 9 Moon candle, and the Metta Ban Dan Chok candle, which his great-grandfather received from Kruba Mong of Wat Sri Thoi and passed on to Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi. In addition, his great-grandfather was an expert in the Na Na Thong Phrom Sam Na and the MahaSanae Metta Maha Niyom subject.
In addition to studying various subjects, Kruba Chaiyapathi is also interested in Vipassana meditation. He became a disciple of Kruba Inta (Wat Wang Thong). In addition to studying meditation, he also learned various incantations. Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi is very attentive to training meditation until he can practice meditation for a long time at a time. Nirodhakam is popular among monks in the North who are interested in practicing meditation. Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi also uses this method of practice, by practicing Nirodhakam for about 7 days at a time. He has used this method since he was a novice until he was ordained as a monk. Each time, he made progress in meditation and encountered many miraculous things. Once, Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi saw a vision of an angel who was more beautiful than ordinary humans. He invited him to give him a sacred yantra. The angel gave him knowledge, which was the “Golden Peacock Yantra”, which was Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi’s personal yantra that he used to help the relatives and devotees who lacked support and were in distress. With his knowledge of various magical subjects that he had studied, along with his firm and steady concentration, those who respected him miraculously survived the crisis. Golden Peacock Yantra, which is considered the identity of Kruba Chaiya Pathaphi. He uses this Yantra to bless houses, companies, shops, cars, and as a Yantra in various amulets, which brings good fortune to all who worship them, giving them prosperity, wealth, charm, popularity, and safety.

The “Shiva Nataraja” is one of the forms of Shiva, the supreme teacher of the art of dance or Indian drama. It is believed that Shiva’s dance causes the reaction of the creation of the world and man. Shiva Nataraja appears in the Trivikram pose, which is one of the 108 poses designed by Shiva. The symbol is his right hand holding a drum, which is the creation of the world. His left hand is surrounded by flames, which is the end of the fire that will burn the world. Shiva made a bet with Uma that the world he created was strong or not fall. Shiva stood on one leg on a rock without his leg falling. While the serpents swayed their bodies to shake the ocean, Lord Shiva won. He created the world by dancing on the rock. While walking and dancing, flames and water flowed from his body, becoming life-sustaining substances.Shrine for Phaya SiHuHaTa of the transformed from Lord Indra.
