Powerful Meditation At Wat Siribunya Maggarama - Ipoh Perak, Malaysia.

Wat Siribunya Maggarama extends its invitation to all Buddhist fraternity and Well wishers to participate in the above celebration, the last big celebration in the calendar year, to be held on Saturday 17th October 2009 and Sunday 18th October 2009. All are welcome to participate in this auspicious event and donation is highly appreciated. Devotees, who wish to participate in the offering of robes, pillows, blankets, towel and other daily necessity, please contact the Chief Monk of the temple.

8.00pm - Meditation Technique by disciple of LP Viriyang Sirintharo, Abbot of Wat Dhammamongko, Bangkok.
8.30pm - Observation of the Five Precepts followed by Dammackha Sutra chanting to celebrate Kathina.
18th October 2009 (Sunday)
9.30am - Observation of the Five Precepts.
11.00am - Offering of Dana (Food to Sangha).
12.00 noon - Lunch for Devotees.
1.30pm - Official Appointment of Chief Monk (Presentation of Certificate to Phra Liang).
1.45pm - Circumambulation (Procession round the temple).
2.15pm - Presenting of Kathina Gifts.
