Wat Pa Sak ~ Teak Forest Monastery ~ The Historical Temple In Chiang Saen - Thailand.

Wat Pa Sak is one of the ruins temple at Chiang Saen Historical Park, this ancient temple also known as 'Teak Forest Monastery' because of 300 teak trees planted at the time of its foundation in 1295. The Teak Forest Monastery' owes its name to the teak trees which still stand along the perimeter of Chiang Saen's city walls, which are located just a few hundred meters from this monastery.
Wat Pa Sak the main Chedi was in Prasat style with 5 spires which was a pattern of early Lanna Art. According Northern Chronicle, this temple was built in the reign of King Saen-Phu in year 1332. Apart from its splendid shape, the Phra Buddha images under niches and stucco postures represent the inspiration from Arts of Pagan, Lanka, China, Khmer and Sukhothai due to the restorations in the past which might be undertaken not less than 2-3 times.
 Futhermore, the Chedi base was reflects an architectural influence from Chedi Ku Kut, while the Relic chamber up to spire was inspired by Chedi Chiang Yan. Both Chedis is located in Lamphun province.

 Apart from the Chedi, the ruins of an Ubosot with several standing stone columns can be found in front of the Chedi.

Wat Chedi Luang ~ The Historials Temple In Chiang Saen - Thailand.

I just went visited many temples of Chiang Saen, district of Chiang Rai province, the Nortern part of Thailand. Chiang Saen also famed by the first Phra Buddha Chiang Saen arrived to Thailand in ancient time and many ruins temple and historials temple also located in Chiang Saen. Trip to Chiang Rai province would not be complete without seeing the notorious Golden Triangle first hand at Chiang Saen. This famed border location where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet on the Mekong River was once supposed to be the center of all the poppy cultivation in Thailand.
 Boats can be hired from Chiang Saen to travel upstream to the Golden Triangle, and downstream to Chiang Khong.
 Wat Chedi Luang is mean 'Royal Stupa Temple', this ruin temple is important historials temple in Chiang Saen. According to the chronicles, 3 years after the completion of the city wall of Chiang Saen, King Saen-Phu ordered construction of Wat Chedi Luang in year 1291.
The main Chedi of Wat Chedi Luang has an Octagonal base with superimposed platforms up to Bell shape in the Lanna style of construction. It is known to be largest and highest Chedi in Chiang Saen, 88 meter high. Within the temple compound area, there are also remains of a Vihara, a few minor Chedis and entrance gate with an arch structure overhead.

 Photo taken with the Octagonal Chedi. This is one of the leaning Chedi in Chiang Saen. All chedis in Chiang Saen is to bend or slant away from the vertical because the effect of earthquake in the past.

 LP SaiThong is one of the famous master to created Powerful Phra Phrom amulets, variety Takruts of Maha Nang-Ngap, Maha Prom, Maha Jakapat and others. LP SaiThong is direct disciple of LP Doo and LP See of Wat Sakae. LP Doo is famous to created Phra Phrom, Takruts and created Powerful protection of LP Thuad amulets. The local people are ensured that LP Doo was a reincarnation of LP Thuad. Nowadays, many people come to seek LP SaiThong for his powerful amulets that learnt from LP Doo.
 LP SaiThong's Hand Write sacred Yant on the amulets.
 The Super Rare 12' inch Jindamanee Maha NangGapTakruts, made 20pcs only and Hand Write Yant by LP SaiThong himself. 
 LP SaiThong deep consecrated the amulets and takruts of I obtained.

Meeting PhraKru PhaLat ~ Wat Kae In SuphanBuri - Thailand (Part 2).

After posted the Khum Khun Paen (part 1) and this time is turn to Wat Kae with the famous Wasp statues, Khun Paen amulets, houses special antiques and Lord Buddha’s footprints called “Phra Phutthabat Si Roi”.
