Visited Wat Ariyakiri ~ Highly Revered Monk Of Holiness PT Lek ~ Kelantan - Malaysia (Part 1/2)

Phor Than Lek (PT Lek) was born in kampung Aril, in Kelantan state of Malaysia on 28th Dec1895. His parents are originated and migrated from Narathiwat ~ Thailand. At age 22 years old, he left his family to enter monkhood at Wat KhauDin ~ Tumpat. After that he went to Wat Ariyakiri to learnt dhamma from Ajahn Rak. After 5 years, he also went to southern Thailand and futher learnt wicha from PhraKhru KhaSerm and also learnt "Samadhi" skill from Achan Kev, and he went "tudong" alone in the deep forest for about 6 months. Monkhood for 58 years, PT Lek breathe his last breath on 6th March 1975.

The past history (pre war era) of Wat Ariyakiri with 4 statues of soldiers representing a British Officer, a British Navy, a British India soldier and a Japanese soldier. In the shrine is the Phra Phrom statue.

PT Thian ~ PhraKru Metta Thammaphon, the past abbot of Wat Ariyakiri, he passed away in year 2015 March, PT Thian was a diciple of PT Lek.

Visited & Met LP Keat ~ Wat Soonthorn Pradit - Phitsanulok Province - Thailand.

Our first full day of travel began with Wat Sonthorn Pradit, Phitsanulok province. We met with one of the good monk ~ LP Keat, the current abbot of Wat Sonthorn Pradit. We can't really hide our excitement about finally getting here ~ Wat Sonthorn Pradit. Since this was our first visit to temple Wat Sonthorn Pradit, we luckily enough have opportunity to met LP Keat.
The main Ubosot of Wat Sonthorn Pradit, after photo taken in front the ubosot, located the stone lion guarding the entrance of the Ubosot.

Here the main prayer wiharn and at here we met up with LP Keat.
The altar for sacred statues, veneration next corner of the wiharn building.
The amulets counter and some display collection amulets of LP Keat and past abbot LP Roon of Wat Sonthorn Pradit. We notice with many LP Keat photos hang at wall.
The main altar with many sacred statues and Holy items. Inside this impressive altar is the bronze Phra Buddha statue and many of Hermit Phra Lersi Heads.
Finally LP Keat arrived after we're waited some time.

Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao ~ The Temple Of LP Suk - The Canal Khlong Makham Thao (Part 3/3).

In front of temple Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao is located the bank of Chao Phraya river. Also where the canal Khlong Makham Thao located at side. In the past, the faster way to travel thru boat at canal Khlong Makham Thao. The local devotees was told me that this river also the place where LP Suk's disciple practiced the wicha.

Here also venerated statues of Phra Budhha and LP Suk. This wiharn is facing the Chao Phraya river.

In the past, many large aquatic reptiles crocodiles live here.

Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao ~ The Temple Of LP Suk - The Main Wiharn With Shrine Of LP Suk & LP Samran (Part 2/3).

The legends of LP Suk ~ Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, the most famous with many witnesses who saw the event were transformed elephants belonging to some arrogant merchants into houseflies, transformed banana blossoms to be rabbit and transformed a man into a crocodile. Futhermore, he had many disciples included HRH Prince Chumpon (son of King Rama V), founder of the Thai Navy.
LP Suk went to studied the Wicha magic arount Thailand and came back to Chainat ~ Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao to became as temple abbot. His master included from top monk LP Poeng from Wat Chinwanaram, LP Thaow from Wat Hong and LP Choen from Wat Poh Thong Lang.
 The main wiharn of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, many local devotees came for pay respect to LP Suk, LP Samran & HRH Prince of Chumphon (son of King Rama V).
