Revisited BE2566 ~ Wat Chedi (Wat Jadee) - The Site Of Plaster Rooster Statues Of All Sizes - NST - Thailand.

Here the site to placed Colourful Plaster Rooster statues of all sizes at Sichon district (just next main road of Wat Jadee), moved from Wat Jadee. All these hundred of thousand Colourful Rooster was as offering by devotees at Wat Jadee. Temple recently has to moved 'too many Rooster statues' to this site because temple ground is too crowded and 'new' pavilion Phatthasima had to built at Wat Jadee.
This place is just site no1 and have another site no2 (bigger) next to this site.
This site strikingly packed with colourful Rooster figured os all size and toys.
After visited this site, we are going to visit Wat Jadee and Wat Sra simun.
The Rooster is taller than me. I have been asked, why devotees offering rooster after wishes granted? AiKhai was a naughty boy, he liked to play and watched people gambling roosters fight. In the past, people used to gamble by grab roosters to fight. It was the traditional kind of gambling and liked to play. In present day, Rooster as bring luck and wealth.

Visited To Wat SuwanKhiri & Met LP Mongkon ~ Temple And Shrine King Thaksin The Great ~ SongKhla, Thailand.

This year BE2566 is anniversary 252nd years of King Thaksin The Great visited to Wat SuwanKhiri during south army trip to unite Thailand under Thonburi Kingdom. Wat SuwanKhiri considered to be the first temple when the city of SongKhla was first called the city of Songkhla - Laem Son after be a part of Thonburi Kingdom ~ King Thaksin The Great. This temple was built during the reign of the first Governor of Songkhla ~ Yeong Sae Hao, after appointed as Governor by King Taksin The Great. Wat SuwanKhiri is an old royal temple under the Maha Nikaya Sangha and former named as "Wat Hua Khao" after the name of the district of Hua Khao. This temple is located beside the Hill and also next to SongKhla Lake. Wat SuwanKhiri was used to hold the water ceremony during the time when the city of Songkhla was located at Laem Son and was considered the family temple of Na Songkhla, but after the city of Songkhla was moved from Laem Son to Bo Yang Sub-district in 1836, the temple Wat SuwanKhiri lacked care and deteriorated until in the year 1973-1974, it was renovated by Phrakhru Kling Thammarakkhito (PT Kling of Wat ThalungThong). He was the ninth abbot of Wat SuwanKhiri and during his time, temple gathered with 108 top guru monks from Southern Thailand to blessed ceremony for the first Egg Pim LP Thuad BE2505 amulets.

The Royal visited to Wat SuwanKhiri by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, she is the third child of the late King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit.

Now Wat SuwanKhiri have invitation to contribute funds for the construction of a shrine and a statue of King Taksin the Great, Songkhla.

Altar for King Thaksin The Great and banner info for the project built a shrine and a statue of King Taksin the Great with Songkhla Provincial Cultural Office participated in offering robes to contribute funds for the construction of a 1.98-metre statue of King Taksin the Great as a memorial for the people to pay homage and honor to His Majesty the King on his visit 252 years ago at here Wat SuwanKhiri.

LP Mongkon (Phrakhru Suwankhirisathit), the current abbot of Wat SuwanKhiri. He is in supervise to built a shrine and a statue of King Taksin the Great. Currently many ceremonies for new batch amulets to raise funds for the project.
