Wat Suan Khan is one of the important temple in Nakhon Si Thammarat with the past abbot PT Klai Wajasit (LP Klai). He is also known as an "angel doctor" who can miraculously cure illnesses that general doctors cannot cure. He cures them with his psychic powers, by taking a holy bath and spreading kindness and using herbal medicine was completely cured until the general villagers regarded him as “The god of the Chawang people”.
