The iconic large Chedi of Wat Ban Suan is unique in this area—such a structure is rare even in nearby provinces. Built through the collective power of faith, it stands as a testament to the devotion of the local community. That's why I always come to visit whenever I'm in Phatthalung province.
Wat Bansuan, Khuan Khanun district in Phatthalung province has been passed down as being built since ancient when the Ayutthaya period as the capital. Wat Bansuan was built by the old master guru monks of Wat Kao Or. He was former abbot of Wat Bansuan, who is a disciple of Wat Kao Or and the amulets consecrated by LP Khong had many miracles experience. The temple follows the teachings and magical practices of the Kao Or school of Wicha, a prominent lineage in Southern Thailand. The current of Chedi Wat Bansuan with new renovation and new painted.
