There are many Wat temples in Songkhla province, whether in the mountains, forests, towns, or even in the lake. Wat Khao Kut monastery, surrounded by Songkhla Lake, is also one of the holy places for purifying the body and mind. You have to drive a mountain road to reach it at top. In Wat Khao Kut, was venerated the sacred Phra ChowKorYo Buddha statue.
