Visited Wat GrenGaThin - Temple Of LP Pian - New Abbot PhraKru PaThalatpon - LopBuri - Thailand (Part: 3/3).

We came to Wat GrenGaThin for pay respected to late LP Pian and met new abbot of Wat GrenGaThin - PhraKru PaThalatpon. In part 3/3 we see more photos inside 'abbot monastery' and mini museum of LP Pian's amulets.

Temple photo of new abbot Wat GrenGaThin - PhraKru PaThalatpon with his master, the late LP Pian. The body of Revered monk LP Pian has been dead for over two months (his died at 16th Nov BE2560) but has mysteriously and barely not decayed and appeared to have smile on his face. Spiritual followers believe he had reached Nirvana due to the smile on his face.  The monk's followers will continue to pray for him until a final resting ceremony is held on the 100th day of his death.

Visited Wat GrenGaThin - Temple Of LP Pian - The Sacred Golden Pagoda Chedi - LopBuri - Thailand (Part: 2/3).

In part 2/3, we see more photos for temple Wat GrenGaThin and unique Golden Pagoda Chedi. This sacred Golden Pagoda Chedi is house of Buddha's Relic.

Revered monk Luang Phor Pian died aged 90 on November 16 in year BE2560 after succumbing to illness in a hospital in Thailand’s capital of Bangkok. Originally from Cambodia, LP Pian spent the majority of his life serving as a well-known spiritual and Buddhist guru in the central Thailand province of Lopburi, where his body was returned to following death. In his life, LP Pian had develop Wat GrenGaThin and Wat ThaKlong.

Visited Wat GrenGaThin - Temple Of LP Pian - The Sacred Beautiful Garden - LopBuri - Thailand (Part: 1/3).

In LopBuri, one of the important temple must visiting is Wat GrenGaThin (wat kren kathin) - LP Pian. Temple Wat GrenGaThin had built up with Beautiful Garden with shrine and Phra Tawai Natra (sunday Buddha) statue develop by LP Pian. Here we share the 'Garden' photos first and later 2 more posts will follow up.

LP Pian of Wat GrenGaThin, LopBuri province. He was ordained at 49 years old at Wat GumPaeng, LopBuri province. He studied Wicha from his father when he was young and after ordained as monk he studied with LP Pahn (khmer monk with great wicha and meditation skill) of Wat GrenGaThin for studying Wicha and Vipassana meditation.

 This beautiful Garden is just located next to Wat GrenGaThin - Temple of LP Pian.

 The sacred and beautiful Phra Tawai Natra (sunday Buddha), Representing an Open-Eye posture, the Buddha stands with hands crossed over his abdomen, in pensive thought. The right hand is placed over the left on the upper thigh. Here, the enlightened Buddha contemplates his achievements and knowledge, standing still for 7 days under the Bodhi Tree to contemplate the suffering of all living things.
