Visiting Chiang Saen Temple - Wat Phra Chao LanThong - Venerated Sacred Statue "Phra Buddha Chao LanThong" - Chiang Sean - Thailand.

City of Chiang Saen, located within the city wall, Wat Phra Chao LanThong was built by Prince Thong Ngua, a son of King Tilokkarat, the 12th ruler of Lanna, in 1489. A must visit temple when you at city of Chiang Saen.
 Temple surrounding of Wat Phra Chao LanThong, the named came from the sacred Phra Buddha statue by name Phra Chao Lan Thong.
 Almost all Chedis at this area is leaning. This is one of the leaning Chedi at Wat Phra Chao LanThong. All chedis in Chiang Saen is to bend or slant away from the vertical because the effect of earthquake in the past.

Close view for a 1,200-kilogram Phra Buddha statue was cast, a lap 2 metres width and over 3 metres height, named “Phra Chao Lan Thong”. Another Phra Buddha statue called “Phra Chao Thong Thip” was also cast which is made of brass in Sukhothai style.
