Wat Phothikyan (Twin Dragon Temple) ~ Standing Buddha, Bachok In Kelantan Malaysia.

A famously White Standing Buddha Statue of Siamese temple Wat Phothikyan located in Kampung Balai, Bachok, Kelantan. Wat Dua Naga is the longest wall shaped like ‘twin dragons‘ in Southeast Asia. The colorful ‘twin dragons’ are 598 meters and completely surrounds the temple, forming an impressive arch at the front of the building the pair of dragons flanking the entrance.Besides Huge Standing Buddha and giant 'Wishing Tree', Wat Phothikyan also popular by it fragrant Herbal baths. Current abbot, Ajahn Poh Chai raised money which he used to built a bath house with separate areas for men, women and families. Many believed such baths helped wash away bad luck.

Wat Machimmaram ~ Seating Buddha, Tumpat In Kelantan Malaysia.

Kelantan is positioned in the north-east of Peninsular Malaysia. It is bordered by Narathiwat Province of Thailand to the north. The ethnic Thai inhabitants of Kelantan are mostly centered in an area around the coastal town of Tumpat, site of most of the state's two hundred or so Buddhist temples, and noteworthy for its number of relatively well-off Siamese villages. Wat Machimmaram contains a large statue of the Seating Buddha, that is 30 metres high and 18 metres wide. This Seating Buddha took 10 years to build by the skilled craftsmen from Thailand, and its was completed in 2000. Wat Machimmaram located in Kampung Jubakar, Tumpat and occupies over 2.4 hectares. The Thai group will conduct the religious celebration at the Wat such as Wesak Day, Kahtinna, Loy Krathong, Saibat, Songkran, and so forth. This Buddha statue is contains the Buddha's relic and Solid Gold coated on the Buddha lips. The largest Seating Buddha in Southeast Asia, in a meditation pose atop of Ubosot Wat Machimmaram.
